Relay For Life Greater Heights
Team Julie's Army of Ants has participated in Relay for Life Greater Heights for the last two years. Join us in 2011  as we meet the challenge once again. More details to come in early 2011.

Team Julie's Army of Ants had over 30 team members in the 2009 Relay for Life on May 15-16 in The Heights for an evening devoted to remembering those battling and those we have lost to cancer. It was a night full of activities, music, dancing, walking the track, sharing with friends and so much more. It's what you make it. It's what we make it. And we want one big incredible team!

Join our team as we gather to honor Julie and others who we've lost to cancer. Witness the survivors (yay) walk their Survivor Lap.

Julie's Friends and Family at AHC! 2009

Thanks to everyone who came out March 29 and walked, ran, volunteered and supported Angie's Half Crazy! Half Marathon in Clear Lake, Texas! What a great turnout and phenomenal job by Race Director Angie Binetti. Pictured above are some of the 6 am Early Start walkers.

Julie's siblings, Sherri, Angie and Joe, walked the half marathon in her memory.

Giving Back
During the holidays, did you ever picture yourself at a hospital rather than sitting around the dinner table, at church or around the tree with your family? Neither did the patients at MD Anderson during Christmas 2008 and 2009.

JKML Corp, due to your support at BTHO Melanoma, was able to provide Melanoma and Sarcoma patients, caregivers and nurses and staff with Christmas Eve lunch.

Box lunches from Sunrise Senior Living were delivered to everyone celebrating their Christmas in the hospital at MD Anderson. In addition, each patient received a stocking filled with chocolates, candy, super comfy socks, hand lotion, antibacterial hand rinse,  and Texas Monthly magazines donated by the magazine itself.

Pictured left are Shirley, Julie's mom and Brendan, Julie's husband.
